fashion as a statement

recently ive been thinking how much of my identity is based on the clothes I wear. everyone has their favorite pair of pants, their favorite hoodie, their favorite jacket and whatever else, and it's really uncommon to be conscient everyday of how much fashion, or hobbies, or music taste influence who we are and how we appear to others, it's fascinating in a way. You could really look at someone, and that's what makes you want to talk with a stranger, or not. first impressions surely matter, and even if taste is subjective, you can deck yourself in the thing you like, and still make friends.
